Who we are
This policy explains how Phoenix Caribbean ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through this website. What we collect
We collect personal data in a small number of ways:
- Contact form. When you submit our contact form we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message — so that we can respond to your enquiry.
- Exit-intent enquiry prompt. This site may show a short enquiry form as you are about to leave a page. Any details you enter are used in the same way as our main contact form, to follow up on your interest.
- AI assistant. This site includes an AI assistant powered by an AI gateway. Messages you type into the assistant are sent to that gateway and, in turn, to an underlying AI model provider so a response can be generated. We use these conversations to answer your questions and to improve the assistant; please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in the chat.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site, to help us understand how the site is used.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using tools such as Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave.
Why we process your data (lawful basis)
We rely on your consent when you submit a form or use the AI assistant, on our legitimate interest in understanding how our site is used (for analytics) and responding to enquiries, and, where a project proceeds, on the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you.
Your rights
In line with the practices we follow under GDPR and UK GDPR-style data protection principles, you can ask us to: confirm what personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to certain processing; and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and contact-form data for as long as needed to respond to you and, where a business relationship develops, for the duration of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained according to the settings we configure in Google Analytics. We periodically review the data we hold and remove it when it is no longer needed.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our business, which may include an analytics provider (Google Analytics 4), a website hosting provider, an email delivery service, and the provider behind our AI gateway and its underlying AI model. These providers process data on our behalf, to the extent needed to deliver their service, and are not engaged to use your data for their own purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time as our website and practices evolve. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
